Death and Funeral of Frederick Loasby

THE DEATH has occurred of Mr. Frederick Loasby, of 38 King-street, at the age of 91 years. As a young man Mr. Loasby took part in a number of walking races, and a keen cyclist, he was a member of the cycling section of Kettering Working Men's club. A member of the Industrial Co-operative Society for 65 years, he had been employed at the Ravelock Boot Works until he was 77. Two daughter, three sons, 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren are left.

MOURNERS at the funeral of Mr. Frederick Loasby, of 38 King-street, were: Mr. W. Loasby, Mrs. F. B. Houghton, Mr. W. H. Loasby, Mrs. T. E. Eady (sons and daughters), Mr. T. E. Eady, Mr. G. Pell (sons-in-law). Mrs. J. Pearson, Mrs. J. Marsh (nieces). Messrs. Edgar, Trevor, Ralph, Raymond, and Frederick Loasby (grandsons), Mrs. H. Bellamy, Mrs. Heath (granddaughters), Mrs. F. Nursey (sister-in-law), and Mr. Heath. Representatives attended from Kettering Co-operative Boot and Shoe Society and Kettering Working Men's Club.
