Biographical information for the clergy associated with St Giles
A list of churchwardens, extracted from parish registers, and
linked to their genealogy
Photographs and transcriptions
The graves in the church yard have been grassed over and the
headstones lifted and placed close together around the edges. Some of the
inscriptions are partly or wholly illegible, but many are still readable. See also Desborough

Burials not at Desborough
Records of baptisms, marriages and burials have been taken from three
sources:
- from images of the Parish Registers, transcribed by me. These are the
primary source, written by the vicar or curate of the day
- from images of the Bishop's Transcript, transcribed by me. These were
copies of the Parish Register, made at the end of the year, and usually
signed as accurate by the vicar or curate, and by the churchwardens. As they
are copies there may be errors and omissions
- from transcripts provided by the Northamptonshire Record Office
I hope eventually to check all records against the primary Parish Records.
