John was the son of Catherine Binley, baptised two months before Catherine's marriage to Samuel Nursey. He may or may not be the son of Samuel Nursey

Witnesses:

William Nursey was the first child of Samuel and Catherine Nursey born after their marriage, so either the half-brother or full brother of John.

Hugh Aprice - probable identification. Note that Hugh was able to sign his own name; John, Rebecca and William were all illiterate.
