PROCEEDINGS OF A REGIMENTAL BOARD

No.  3529  James Marlow  referred to in the preceding pages, by Trade a Silk Weaver

was born in the Parish of Desborough,  near the Town of Rothwell, in the County of Northampton

and attested for the  Scots Fus Gds   Regt at Market Harborough  in the County of  Leicester

on the  28th May 1847, at the Age of 20  11/12 Years  


His final description, &c., when discharged from the Service, at London this   day of  August  1869

Age   43 2/12 Years

Height      Feet    10   Inches

Complexion   Fair

Eyes    Grey

Hair     Brown

Trade   Silk Weaver

Marks or Scars upon the face, or other parts of the body    None

Intended Place of Residence  South Hill, Bedford


DECLARATION TO BE MADE AND SIGNED WHEN THE SOLDIER RECEIVES

HIS DISCHARGE AT HIS OWN REQUEST

I.   James Marlow  in the Sco Fus  Regt  of  Foot Guards  hereby declare that I do, of my own free will, request to be discharged from Her Majesty's Service ; and I further declare, that a period of not less than Thirty Days has elapsed since I first made Application for my Discharge
