Manslaughter, 1824

TEN GUINEAS REWARD.

For the Apprehension of JOHN KILBORN (Son of Thomas Kilborn), late of DESBOROUGH, in the County of Northampton, Labourer, for FELONY.

WHEREAS a Coroner's Inquest hath been held on the body of Mr. THOS. LOAKE, late of DESBOROUGH abovesaid, Farmer, and the JURY have returned a VERDICT of MANSLAUGHTER against the said JOHN KILBORN;

Notice is hereby given,

That the above Reward of TEN GUINEAS will be paid by the CONSTABLE of DESBOROUGH aforesaid, to any Person or Persons who shall apprehend the said JOHN KILBORN, and lodge him in one of his Majesty's Gaols, or bring him to the said Constable; and such Reward will be paid on the said John Kilborn being fully committed for Trial.

The Offender stands about five Feet five Inches high, is stout made, had a round Visage, light Hair and a Mark on one of his Cheeks caused by a recent Bile; his Language is provincial, wheedling, and smooth; and his Dress, a Light Coat and Corduroy Breeches, and he has been bred to the farming Business.
