The Benefit of the Doubt

Thomas Yeomans, shoe hand, Desborough, was charged with breaking and entering the dwelling-house of Charles Reculest, and stealing 12s., at Desborough, on Nov. 7.

—Superintendent Andrew stated that although there was a certain amount of evidence there was not enough evidence to go to a jury, and the prisoner was discharged.
