Henry Vines

Result of Summons, 17th February 1868

Henry Vines, who had been charged with neglecting to contribute 1s. a week towards the maintenance of his son, in the Akbar reformatory ship, produced evidence to show that out of his average earning of 176. 6d. a week, after paying for charges and assistance, and 5s. a week for the lodgings of himself and his two children, he had only 3s. 6d. a week left, and the Bench declined to make an order.
