John Booth
Candidate, 1826: Verderor of Rockingham Forest

To the NOBILITY, GENTRY, CLERGY, and FREE-HOLDERS of the County of NORTHAMPTON.

My Lords and Gentlemen,

The Office of VERDEROR of ROCKINGHAM FOREST being VACANT by the much-regretted Death of Mr. CLARKE, OF Welton, I beg Leave to OFFER MYSELF as a CANDIDATE for that OFFICE; hoping, that the Service of my Father and myself as Sheriffs, and our Residence in the Neighbourhood of this Forest, which in its extended State, included my Property, will induce you to think favourably of my Pretensions.

I have the Honor to be,
              My Lords and Gentlemen,
     Your most obedient, humble Servant,

                                     JOHN BOOTH.
