        We John Ekins and Thomas Ward Churchwardens of the parish of Brixworth in the County of Northampton and John Bray   Richard Litchfield Overseers of the poor of ye sd parish do hereby own and Acknowledge Thomas Wood and Jane his wife to be Inhabitants Legally Settled in the parish of Brixworth in Wittness whereof we have hereunto Sett our hands and Seals the Twenty third Day of March in the Tenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland King Defender of ye Faith &c. Annoq Dom 1725/24
