			Leicestershire to wit
			To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the  
			Parish of West Langton in the said County of Leicester and to the Churchwardens 
			and Overseers of the Poor of the  Parish of Desborough in 
			the County of Northampton and to each and every of them.
			
			UPON the complaint of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the 
			Poor 
			of the Parish of West Langton aforesaid, in the said county of 
			Leicester unto us, whose names are hereunto set, and seals affixed, 
			being two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the 
			said county of Leicester and one of us of the Quorum, that Thomas 
			Swaine Rachel his Wife and 
			Sarah their daughter aged ten years, Elizabeth their daughter aged 
			eight years, James their Son aged Six years, Rowena their daughter 
			aged four years and Selina their daughter aged nine Months have 
			come to inhabit in the said Parish of West Langton not having gained a legal settlement there, 
			nor produced any 
			certificate, owning them to be settled elsewhere, and that 
			the said Thomas Swaine, Rachel his Wife and their said family are now 
			actually chargeable to 
			the Parish of West Langton.
			We, the said Justices, upon due proof made thereof, as well upon 
			the examination of the said Thomas Swaine
			
		 
			
				 
				The remainder of this document is missing, but as it was 
				amongst the parish documents at Desborough it is assumed that 
				the removal order was completed and executed. The date is 
				estimated from the ages of the children.
