Bartin Guteridge Gent }
 Robert Dexter Gent}

The parish registers show Robert Dexter and Bartin Gutteridge to have been churchwardens together in 1743, the year after the death of this Lewis East, so it is assumed that the bequest was made by him rather than by his father, also named Lewis.
