Joseph Morris was baptised at Desborough on 19 Feb 1737/38, the son
of William Morris and
Mary Nursey.
Ann, wife of
William Marvin of
Frolesworth, was originally thought to be Ann Morris, daughter of
George and
Mary Morris. Her
date of baptism was 20 Sep 1762, which was appropriate for the age given.
However, the will of Joseph
Morris has now proved her to be his niece, the daughter of Joseph's
sister Ruth Ball, nee Morris
There is also another memorial in St Giles churchyard for
James Morris Marvin
who was baptised on 15 Sep 1805 at Frolesworth, the son of
William Marvin
and Ann Cave.
From the names and the dates I have assumed that the younger William Marvin
is the son of the elder William..
