GEORGE KING

FORMERLY OF HARROW, MIDDLESEX

WHO FELL ASLEEP NOV 26TH 1917

AGED 80 YEARS

George King was born at Harrow in Middlesex, the son of William and Mary King. He never married.

In 1861, at the age of 24, he was butler to the widowed Margaret Round, at Hastings. He was still with Mrs Round in 1871, at her household in Colchester.

In 1881 he was butler to John Raymond Raymond Barker, Magistrate, in Fairford, Gloucestershire. By 1891 John Barker had died and his widow was living in Kensington. George was still in service with her.

In 1901 he was living with his widowed sister in law in Harrow.

In 1911 George was boarding with a family in Desborough where he later died.
