Elizabeth Swindell
was born at Derby about 1831, the daughter of
Samuel Swindell. She
married Henry Johnson in 1857.
In 1901 she was living at Desborough, next door to her younger sister
Eliza Ann whose husband, Thomas Gadsby, had been the local Station Master for
many years.
