IN MEMORY OF

ISABELLA ANNE

SMITH

WHO DIED APRIL 3rd

1855

Isabella Anne Cave was baptised in 1835 at Desborough, the third of seven known children of William Cave and Elizabeth Haddon.

She married Clement Madely Smith in 1854 and died just a few months later. By 1861 Clement had re-married and again been widowed; that census lists his occupation as "Member Univ. Lond: M.D. St Andrews Scot: M.R.C.S. Lond: L.A.C. Lond: H.M. Bengal Army"

Isabella's eldest brother, Sir Lewis William Cave, was a High Court judge for sixteen years.
