was born at Daventry in Northamptonshire about 1827. She was living with
Mary Brightman, a pauper aged about 60, in 1841. Mary may have been her
mother or grandmother.
Richard Mitchell was
a farmer, originally from Cranford in Northamptonshire, but living in
Desborough from at least 1851.
