Thomas Swain Manton
was born at Desborough about 1844, the son of
Charles and Rowena Manton.
Clara was
the daughter of Thomas
Ginns and
Ann Turner. She was
baptised at Desborough 25th January 1846.
Clara and Thomas were married about 1869. They had two sons, Charles and
Thomas. Charles in turn had three boys, all of whom saw service in the Great
War. Harry, the eldest, was killed in 1918.
