Private William Rawthorn 14th Reg Foot

Not in Hospital during the present year, & there are no Registers of earlier date with the Regiment. The reasons assigned for recommending his discharged from the Service are

"Chronic Rheumatism - exhausted constitution from long service in India - is subject to attacks of pain in the chest and difficulty of breathing - has been employed as an orderly in the Hospital, being unable to perform his regimental duties, and is now unfit for that duty."

From the Cause Above mentioned I can furnish no information relative to the origin of his Complaints.

Buttevant 27 Nov 1832
