Samuel Arthur was
born at Desborough about 1875, the fourth of five children of
George Crick Coe and
Sarah Ann Freer.
In 1895 he married
Mary Coe who, according to the census, was born in Desborough about
1877. Her family has not yet been traced.
By the 1911 census the couple had had 3 children, though only one had
survived.
