James Burditt was
born about 1846 at Desborough, the son of
William Burditt and
Alice Sharman.
James was married twice, first in 1868 to Eliza Foster with
whom he had a son Joseph, and secondly in 1877 to
Mary Ann Ginns.

Mary Ann was the daughter of
Joseph Ginns and
Eliza Ann Robinson.
James and Mary Ann had seven children by 1911, three of whom had already
died.
