Ann Yeomans was baptised 28th April 1781, at Desborough. She was the youngest of four (known) children of Joseph Yeomans and Elizabeth Loake.

She was for many years a servant of the Duke of Grafton at his residence in Clarges Street, Piccadilly, London. By January 1832, when she made her will, she had returned to live in Desborough. She made her brother John her heir and executor.
